Youthesta was first launched in September 2021 as a News and Blog website by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Behala College.

However, with the time Youthesta has evolved into a “Web-App.”  Simply today, Youthesta is not only a blog or news website, rather than it has become an Online Learning Platform for the students.

Now, in this platform students showcase their talents to the world, and along with that they  acquire hands-on experience, skills and knowledge which are requisite in the field of Media and Journalism.

The reason behind the creation of Youthesta was simple. In this Digital Era theoretical and bookish knowledge is inadequate for a student, specially in the fields like Journalism, where hands-on experience and skills play the game changing role in the job market. 

Simply by using it you can easily understand the similarities and the differences between the theoretical and practical aspects of the Media, New Media and Journalism.
