During the 12th meeting between India and Germany it was decided to encourage vocational education training in order to create the skill gaps and generate upskilling for Indian workers. The meeting was held on 7th December 2022 and it was aimed to built proper mechanism vocational education training (VET) to met the skill requirements according to German standards. Both the countries are framing a map to connect employers and to understand how skilled certified workers contribute to economic development.
G2G, G2B, and B2B tie-ups with suitable institutions having international standards including training, assesments and certificate. After the mutual approval of both the nation partners the training session will be started for the students.
The Federal Ministries of Education and Research (BMBF) and Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) discussed about how to combine employer mandates and to demand the needs for NSDCI (National Skill Development Corporation of India). The discussion also includes the information on job descriptions, foreign language training, eligibility criteria and curriculum.
