According to the film makers actor Kartik Aaryan has started shooting for his upcoming film with director Kabir Khan which is to be aired on screen next year on June 14.

The story centres around an unknown sports hero with an indomitable spirit, and industry sources who has suggested it and has a connection to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was due to appear in an untitled biopic based on physically challenged sportsperson Murlikant Petkar.

The film is still under production. The stars of the film are Kartik Aryan, Shraddha Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, and Bhuvan Arora. Aaryan took to Instagram on Wednesday evening and shared the news along with a photo with the 83 director.

Aaryan’s latest theatrical release is Satyaprem Ki Katha, co-starring Kiara Advani. The film which was released last month, has raised over Rs 100 crore at the global box office but now his upcoming project Chandu Champion will be jointly produced by Nadiadwala and Khan, known for critically-acclaimed films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and 2021’s cricket drama 83. The film is really gonna be an extra ordinary real life story based on a sportsperson.
