Early Saturday a Kolkata based middle aged couple died on a bike trip to ladakh in an accident occurred in Barabanki, about 30 km from Lucknow.

The couple identified as Subrata Sanyal (53) and his wife Paramita (45) hailed from south Kolkata’s Naktala locality. The accident transpired on the Purvanchal Expressway after the couple’s mobike rammed into a divider.

The local cops took the couple to hospital where they were declared dead on arrival. From what the friends and relatives spoke of the deceased couple, quite naturally it turns out that bike rides and adventure trips were their passion and they didn’t let their age come in the way.

The bodies were handed over to the family following a post-mortem. Now cremated at Lucknow’s Bhaishakund crematorium the couple only lives in the memories of the two sons left behind.
