Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is no stranger to winning it big on the grand stage. With an illustrious career spanning over years and method acting, the actor has won numerous awards on the domestic as well as on the global scene. The actor often lauded for his simplicity and down to earth attitude recentely showed up on the French Riviera Film Festival. With the world of entertainment currently focused on the French city of Cannes, the actor’s presence was bound to garner mass attention back home.

The event is now looked back as one of fond memory by all of India, and especially by Nawaz as that was the night Two Time Emmy Award winning American Director Vincet De Paul personally presented the actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui with the award for Excellence in Cinema at the prestigious venue of the French Riviera Film Festival. It was an historic moment in the actor’s career as it bestowed international credit and recognition to his craft.

The actor rushed to social media to share his immense delight at receiving the award. He took to social media to post a picture from the award ceremony. With the picture there was a caption saying, “It was a wonderful experience to spend time with brilliant cinema artists from all around the world”.

The French Riviera Film Festival saw Nawaz having the time of his life, hugging and smiling with fellow artists from all around the world. In one of the photographs, Nawazuddin was seen beside a well known Turkish actor, Cansel Elvin.

Another photo, saw Nawaz talking with star Gilles Marini, Nicole Muj; the co-founder of the French Riviera Film Festival, Nigel Daly; the editor of Screen International and Jaroslaw Marszewski; a multiple time award winning Polish director.

The actor will be seen next in his upcoming projects “Tiku weds Sheru”, “Noorani chehra”, and “Adbhut”.
