Odisha’s first private satellite news channel has launched the State’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) news anchor at a ceremony held in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
“The use of AI has just begun in television broadcasting and for that reason, Lisa is all set to create many new milestones in times to come. She is the first AI anchor in the free-to-air regional television broadcasting arena,” said OTV MD Jagi Mangat Panda while introducing Lisa.
While introducing Lisa , Odisha Television Limited(OTV) exclaimed that Lisa is an astonishing robot which has been made in order to anchor and read news in the OTV channel. MD Jagi Mangat Panda futher exclaimed that now the time has changed and nowadays people are spending more time on the internet. Therefore, keeping pace with the time, OTV has successfully completed 25 years in television journalism and now thought of a new idea of technology creating another milestone by introducing Odisha’s first Artificial Intelligence news anchor,Lisa.
