The Delhi capitals mentor presumes that David Warner can turn back into his blistering IPL form on the absence of the former captain Rishabh Pant. Warner lives up up till now as the third highest run getter in the world’s most popular franchisee league after Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan.
“This (IPL) is a different format altogether. So hopefully, he (Warner) will be back to his prime,” stated by Sourav after the session of the Capitals at the JU Salt Lake Campus.
Sourav finds Warner as the only familiar Aussie apart from the other victims who has lead an IPL side to championship at the Indian soil. Warner would be handed the captainship badge to lead Delhi capitals which would not be a new task for one who has previously lead Hyderabad as a champion.
The former Indian captain has extended his extra support to the Aussie in terms of dealing the leg spin with more ease which has been his weak zone and fell as victim whenever landed with such deliveries.
