Sufiya Khan has enlisted herself in the Guinness Book of World Records  on 2nd April ,2022 as the fastest runner to have covered the ” Golden Quadrilateral”. The Delhi girl started her journey from her hometown to cover the highway networks of Mumbai, kolkata and Chennai.

Sufiya achieved the record of covering 6002 km in just 110 days , 23 hours and 24 minutes which had the start on December 16, 2020 and such paved the way for the achievement on April 6, 2021 after which she got certified by the prestigious record book. An overwhelmed Sufiya said,

“No, I didn’t think of giving up in the entire attempt.”

Much awaited dream of  Sufiya Khan has finally seen the daylight as she wins  the epithet of being Fastest female to run along the Indian Golden Quadrilateral Road . Amidst all achievements Sufiya never forgot to acknowledge her husband’s support-  who scheduled her nutrition, physiotherapy and had even  drove the car for her . With the motto of never to stop, Sufiya  recollects,

” distance running is my passion and I have left my aviation job for it, so I always have time for such a journey . I train myself for long runs . This was my third expedition of long- distance running in country”
