Actor Salim Ghouse passed away at 70 on Thursday in Mumbai. Doctors confirmed that the death occurs due to cardiac arrest. He was admitted to hospital on Wednesday night due to chest pain.On Thursday morning his wife Anita Salim confirmed his death. She said to the media when he experienced chest pain, they immediately rushed him to Kolilaben hospital. He passed away yesterday morning.

Veteran actor Salim Ghouse was first seen on a TV serial ‘Subah’. Apart from TV shows he appeared in many of the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English films. He was popularly known while starting in Shyam Bengal’s TV series named ‘Bharat Ek Khoj ‘. In Bollywood he started his journey with the movie Swarg Narak in 1978.

Not only in Bollywood he also featured in some international movies such as Kim, The perfect murderer, The Deceivers, The Maharajas daughter and the Getting personal.

Actor Salim Ghouse’s last appearance was in a Bollywood movie in the year 2010 named “Well done Abba” also featuring with Boman Irani, Ravi Kishan and Misshina Lamba. He was also the part of upcoming Tamil thriller movie “Kaa-The Forest”, in which he was about to be featured as a wildlife warden.
