Actor Gufi Paintal whose notorious for the depiction of BR Chopra’s Mahabharata’s Shakuni Mama failed at the age of 79 moment due to age related health issues leading to heart failure.
The actor’s family said in a statement, “ With profound grief we advertise the sad demise of our father Mr Gufi Paintal( Shakuni Mama). He passed away peacefully this morning girdled by family and unrestricted bones.”
After being bad and suffering due to age related illness and the worsened health condition of Gufi Paintal, he was admitted in the sanitarium for a long time since May 31. After a lot of struggle with the worsening health issues eventually the actor left for his heavenly residence moment morning at9.00 am.
Besides being an astonishing actor, Gufi Paintal was also known for directing a many television shows and a movie named Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. He was also associated with the BR flicks and worked as an associate director, casting director and product developer under the company. The actor was the family of popular funnyman Paintal, who got notorious starring in flicks like Satte Pe Satta, Rafoo Chakkar, Parichay and so on.
Some of the notorious flicks of Gufi’s career includes, Dillagi( 1978), Des Pardes( 1978), Daava( 1997), Samrat & Co( 2014). He also portrayed the part of Akshay Kumar’s motherly uncle in the 1994 film’ Suhaag’. Besides Mahabharat, he also starred in television shows like Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein, Karmaphal Daata Shani and Karn Sangini which were veritably notorious diurnal detergents in the Indian families.
