On May 23, a heart attack claimed the life of well-known television actor Nitesh Pandey. At Lagatpuri, close to Nasik, where he was filming last night, the actor, 51, passed away.

Producer Siddharth Nagar, Nitesh’s brother-in-law, told Etimes that the rumour was true and added, “Yes, you heard it properly. My sister Arpita Pandey is in a state of shock because my brother-in-law has passed away. Father of Nitesh has travelled to Igatpuri to retrieve his mortal remains. By the afternoon, they must arrive. Since the incident, I have been unable to speak to Arpita and we are both completely numb.

The actor’s brother-in-law said, “I’m on the train right now and I’m going to Igatpuri with you. When I first learned about this, I had just returned from Delhi. I was much older than Nitesh. He was a really vivacious individual, and I doubt he had a history of any heart conditions.

For his roles in TV shows like Anupamaa, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Pyaar ki Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, Ek Rishta Sajedari ki, and others, Nitesh Pandey is well-known.

Additionally, he has acted in films like Om Shanti Om as Shah Rukh Khan’s assistant. He also played Prem Singh in the Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao film Badhaai Do.
