Alia Bhatt , the shimmering star is all set to make her Met Gala or the Costume Institute Gala debut this year ,the 30-year-old paved her way to the most desired red carpets of the Metropolitan Museum in New York on May 1, 2023 (May 2 ,3:30 a.m. IST) along with the biggest celebrities in the world , styled in a Prabal Gurung creation . The theme this year at Met Gala is a tribute to karl Lagerfeld : A Line of Beauty’ to honor Karl Lagerfeld who used to believe that fashion is not art, It belonged on the street, on men’s and women’s bodies. The actress being already a big fan of Prabal and his connection to with Karl Lagerfeld is the another reason behind going with the Gurung for her Met Gala debut .This wil be a great moment for South Asian representation and Alia’s a fitting addition to Gurung’s impressive roster of celebrity clientele ranging from Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey to Sarah Jessica Parker and Deepika Padukone, who also wore a red number by Prabal at the 2018 Met Gala.

The actress is all set to feature in Tom Harper’s directorial , ‘ Heart of stone ‘ .The movie also stars Gal Godot and Jamie Dorman and will release on August 11, 2023 and many more new releases at home this year .
