Under Ministry of Education, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 21, addressed a webinar on positive impact of Union Budget 2022. While addressing the webinar on education budget, PM Modi said that a lot of importance has been placed on the education sector.This budget will help in implementing National Education Policy.
The Prime Minister Modi briefly explained on five aspects that were emphasised in the Budget 2022. Firstly, major key decisions have been taken for quality education i.e., elaboration of education with improved and better quality along with enriched capabilities of the education sector. Secondly, special attention has been given to skill development and it’s enhancement.Major Focus is on creating and building a digital skill ecosystem, skill development as per better industry demand and it’s linkage. Thirdly, incorporation of India’s old and ancient experience and knowledge of urban planning into education is prominent. Fourthly, Internationalisation has been stressed. It involves advent of world class foreign universities and strengthening of institutions of GIFT City getting Fin-tech related institutes. Fifth,key focus on Animation Visual Effects Gaming Comic (AVGV) where employment is huge and a part of big global market nowadays.
In the context of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and National Education, this is the first ever budget, which we want to execute for laying down the foundation of the Amrit Kaal.” “Budget is not just an account of statistics, if implemented properly, can bring huge transformation even with limited resources”, further PM Modi said.
