Ruddrankhsh Patil , won  gold at male’s 10 m air rifle, beating Italy’s Danilo Solazzo 17-13 in a shootout. He made a sensational score in the ongoing game on Friday in Cairo. With these, Patil additionally earned India’s first rifle/pistol event quota for 2024 Paris Olympics at a very young age . On his World Championship, Patil shot a grand total of 633.9 in the qualification round.

In the first round, the score was equal for both the participants which was making a tie at 2-2. Later, Danilo lead to 10.5 and Patil at 10.3 and the score was 6-2 at that time. Afterwards Patil trying to increase his score which turns the score at 6-4, but when Danilo won the next two rounds, it made the score 10-4.

In the meantime it was very difficult to imagine about the victory , but latter the score turned into 11-7. Finally in the last round, Danilo could not score more points from 13-9 and the turning moment was the score of 15-13. Patil seized the last two points which carried  him towards the gold.
