According to entertainment magazine Deadline, actress Priyanka Chopra is in discussions with Amazon Studios about taking the lead role in the limited series Assume Nothing, which is based on Tanya Selvaratnam’s memoir of the same name. “Let’s go!” is what Priyanka wrote alongside a screenshot of the Deadline article that she posted on her Instagram story, possibly indicating that she has agreed to star in the show. On her Instagram story on 2nd March ,she tagged Purple Pebble Pictures and Amazon Studios.
The book Assume Nothing: A story of Intimate Violence claims to have experienced violence while dating Harvey Weinstein’s prosecutor and New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, a supporter of women’s rights. Mimi Won Techentin will adapt Assume Nothing and executive produce it. She will also serve as the showrunner. According to Deadline, Priyanka will serve as an executive producer on the project under Mary Rohlich’s Purple Pebble Productions company.
The 40-year-old will next be seen with Richard Madden in the spy thriller series Citadel from the Russo Brothers. On April 28, the series will make its Amazon Prime Video debut. Fans responded enthusiastically to the series’ recent teaser, which was recently released by the creators. In addition, Priyanka will co-star with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion in the romantic comedy Love Again. The movie’s release date is set for May 12.
