On Sunday, Gujarat Titans (GT) lodged their fifth win in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at MCA Stadium in Pune by winning a victory over Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by three wickets while David Miller singlehandedly pulled Gujarat Titans over the line from a deceased state.

Gujarat Titans scored 170 run against Chennai Super Kings, although the table topper had a disastrous start to their run-chase, scoring 87/5 in the 13th over. David Miller and Rashid Khan together turned the table around by attaining 80-run partnership which lead to an incredible win to the Gujarat Titans. Captain of Gujarat Titans,  Rashid Khan, banged the match with 40 run in just 21 balls. In the final over, David Miller alone secured 94 runs off 51 balls which managed to take Gujarat Titans over the line and made him win the player of the match award. GT secured the top of the points table with ten points from six matches.

Batting first, CSK scored 169/5 in 20 overs and attained their 5th loss. Both Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ambati Rayudu played well scoring 73-run knock out and 46 runs from 31 ball respectively. In the points table, they secured the ninth spot with just two points.
