Kolkata Police arrested four miscreants yesterday following the seizure of semi-finished firearms and fake Indian currency notes valuing Rs 50,000 from Sinthee area in North Kolkata .As of report ,the illegal business which had been flourishing was under watch of the officers.
The Officers who were assigned with the case has published the names of Mohammad Imtiaz ,his son Mohammad Sahil Mullick , Indrajit Sharma and Vicky Prasad, who were finally arrested.
Added to it, investigation has brought facts that, the master-mind had close association with local residents of the city too. Sharma residing in Narendrapur and Prasad from Bhowanipore both were involved with this fake notes scam. The police has confiscated all the items from their go-down. As of information, the officers are now focused on finding out the parties to whom Imtiaz and his son used to supply their materials.The officers added in a statement, “The arrests were made based on specific information from our sources. During raids we found one iron-made improvised carbine with a dual magazine, 10 pieces of iron-made improvised semifinished pistols and high-quality counterfeit Indian currency notes amounting to Rs 50,000,”
