Sunil Gavaskar stated that, in T20 Rishabh Pant needs to “improve his off-side play” so that he does not face in difficulty while predetermined his shots. Both Gavaskar and Adam Gilchrist admitted Pant and Dinesh Karthik can play in the same team wherein Matthew Hayden thinks only Pant can play for the T20 World Cup.
Former Australian captain, Adam Gilchrist mentioned, Pant is a must in Indian team. Pant can hit sixes and can also be unstoppable once he strengthens his off-side play, further added by Gavaskar. Both a similar opinion in having Pant and Dinesh Kartik in the same team since Kartik’s versatility take things to a next level and and make the team stronger. Although, Mathew have a completely different perspective and recommends Pant over Kartik.
