Virat Kohli retreated with a tremendous fight after a set back of few matches and brought back his ‘power game‘. The things have gradually started to get in place ahead of the world cup was exclaimed by the former batsman Sanjay Manjrekar.
The former skipper had done a fantastic performance to gain the title of the highest run-getter in the Asia Cup. Further he maintained his good form to successfully finish the T20s against one of the greatest team Australia.
“There was a time when he was getting runs but his power game was not coming at his beck and call. That is starting to happen,”
Manjrekar said. He further discussed how the skipper had managed on breaking the chains to capture his power game.
“He is dispatching good balls for big boundaries and sixes. It s all about confidence. This is a guy who’s damn self-confident and drives himself to excellence but for longtime runs weren’t coming and his confidence was tender.”
Manjrekar further expressed his opinion about, who he thinks to have been overworked lately, and the reasons for the cause could never been anything other than that of the latter’s overplaying and over practicing.
