India is regarded as the world’s third largest green house gas emitter and now the country is up for adopting the renewable resources totally along with sustainable developmental processes in order to address the challenges to meet energy access and poverty. The government of India has decided to increase the use of domestic renewable energy resources to 200 GW in the coming future generation.
In the future India, the livelihood of people will depend upon the sustainable practices and renewable resources leading to rapid increasing deployment of the solar and wind energy and at the same time would address the challenges for financial requirements, environmental impacts and powergrid integration.
Gradually along time , India’s renewable electricity will grow at a faster rate with major economy budget and will become a modern country to adopt bioenergy methods with great ambitions to scale up the level of economy in the country.
India’s greater reliance on the use of sustainable processes and renewable resources will also lead to upliftment of the environment. India will also produce million tonnes of green hydrogen and would also set up 50-55 solar parks with aggregate capacity of 39.28 GW. Wind energy consumption is aimed to be use at a target of 30GW in the coming years.
One of the biggest challenge to this energy consumption is that renewable power resources are natural which are not be able to controlled by man. Fluctuations in the sunlight and wind levels will provide less electricity supply as compared to that received from the fossil fuel plants.
Moreover , high installation cost , lack of knowledge and awareness can also challenge the changed landscape.Due to India’s drought prone areas and land degradation this concept will not be commercially vested as it will require a lot of space.
In the future India, people will however get benefitted by diversifying energy supply reducing dependence on important fuels. This transition will also lead to the rise of solar capacity by 600GW. Since renewable energy resources are obtained naturally,it should be sustained.
Renewable energy supply will thus form an integrated India being advantageous for its future energy policy. If India will be able to continue with this process of green energy production then absolutely it will be successful overtime as renewable resources never depletes but non- renewable resources depletes over time.
